The Bardstown City Schools Board of Education approved the 2026-2027 school calendar at its regular-called meeting on Thursday, November 18, 2025. Pursuant to KRS 158.070, the annual instructional calendar was recommended by the district’s calendar committee.

Calendar highlights include:
- First Day of School: August 4
- Fall Break: October 5 – 19
- Winter Break: December 21 – January 4
- Spring Break: March 29 – April 12
- Last Day of School: May 28
The 2026-27 preschool calendar will be released at a later date.
