Bardstown Alternative School Principal Richae Logan has been selected as one of 27 educators across the commonwealth named to the 2027 Kentucky Women in Education Leadership (KWEL) cohort. Hosted by the Kentucky Association of School Administrators (KASA), the initiative recognizes outstanding female education leaders committed to student success, professional growth, and leadership excellence.
“These educators bring talent, experience and a deep commitment to the students and communities they serve,” said Dr. Rhonda Caldwell, KASA Chief Executive Officer. “Through KWEL, they will build relationships that challenge and encourage them, strengthen their confidence and prepare them to take the next step in their leadership.”
The KWEL program supports women at all levels of educational leadership through mentorship from executive-level leaders, targeted professional development, and statewide peer networks. Principal Logan will be formally inducted into the cohort during the KWEL Leadership Forum on January 27–28, 2027, at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington.
Please join us in celebrating Principal Logan on this well-deserved statewide recognition!
