It is almost that time again! K-12 grade students return to school on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. We hope this Back to School page will provide you with the information you need to prepare for the 2022-23 school year.

Open House Information
Below is some important information to help you make the most of your student’s Open House.
Chromebooks
Students in grades 2-12 are issued Chromebooks. A yearly $10 technology fee to cover the warranty of the Chromebook is required for every 2-12 grade student. This $10 technology fee must be paid by cash or check at your child’s open house each year. Additionally, at open house the following students will receive Chromebooks:
- Any new 2-12 grade student
- 2nd grade students
- 6th grade students
- 9th grade students
All other students were allowed to keep their Chromebook over the summer and will continue to use it for the upcoming school year.
Annual Update
Part of the Annual Update includes completing important paperwork like our technology agreement form, photo release, handbooks and more. If you haven’t completed your Annual Update on your Infinite Campus Parent Portal before you arrive at Open House you’ll need to complete it at Open House.
Health Services
The BCS Health Services department will be present at all Open Houses. You can meet your child’s school nurse and do the following:
- Drop off any daily meds or emergency meds
- Action plans may be printed and completed prior to open house snd returned that night
- Submit required health forms such as
- school entry- immunizations, physical, eye exam, dental exam
- 6th grade- physical, immunization
- 16yr old – immunization
- any other health paperwork that has been updated like immunizations

- Fourth Grade families with last names beginning with A – L should plan to visit between 3:00 and 3:30 PM.
- Fourth Grade families with names beginning with M-Z should visit from 3:45 – 4:15 PM.
- Fifth Grade families with last names beginning with A – L should plan to visit between 4:30 and 5:00 PM.
- Fifth Grade families with names beginning with M-Z should visit from 5:15 – 5:45 PM.

- Second Grade families with last names beginning with A – L should plan to visit between 3:00 and 3:30 PM.
