Natalie Kiser has been selected as the district’s new Educator Development Coordinator, officially stepping into the role on July 1, 2026. Selected by a committee of district and school leaders, Kiser will spearhead a brand-new position designed to support our current staff and inspire future educators.
In her new role, Kiser will collaborate with principals and teachers to enhance instructional programs, professional learning, and curriculum resources. She will also serve as a liaison for state and national educational initiatives and partner with universities to strengthen teacher recruitment efforts. Additionally, Kiser will champion the district’s Teaching and Learning pathway, actively engaging middle and high school students who are interested in pursuing careers in education.
“Natalie Kiser brings a wealth of experience and insight, having served in meaningful roles across every educational level,” said Dana Cull, Supervisor of Instruction. “Her energy, passion, and deep understanding of the profession position her to make a lasting and meaningful impact in this role.”
Kiser brings nearly three decades of diverse educational experience to the position, spanning classroom instruction and school leadership across elementary, middle, and high school levels. She joined Bardstown City Schools in 2004 as a ninth-grade English teacher at Bardstown High School and has served as the assistant principal at Bardstown Primary School since 2010. Her prior experience includes teaching middle school English Language Arts in both Oldham County and Nelson County schools.
Kiser holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Morehead State University, a Master’s Degree in Administration from the University of Louisville, and a Rank I certification as a Supervisor of Instruction from the University of the Cumberlands.
