All Bardstown City Schools families are being asked to complete the Meal Benefits Application, also known as the free and reduced lunch form. Although breakfast and lunch will be provided free to all students in Bardstown City Schools throughout the 2023-24 school year, it is still important for all district families to fill out the Meal Benefits Application.
Why? Because filling out and returning the form can benefit both your family and all families in Bardstown City Schools in the following ways:
- Increased funding for BCS to ensure that students receive the support they need
- Discounts on fees associated with applying for college, ACT/SAT testing and more
- Increased technology funds for BCS to improve internet access and network services
- Family and youth service resource programs
Families only need to complete one application per household. Every family that completes a Meal Benefit Application by Friday, September 22nd will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift card. We’re awarding a $100 gift card per grade level. Families will have a chance to win a gift card at each grade level they have a child currently enrolled in. Drawing will be held on September 29th.
